Monitoring of interests

Many valuable member benefits

The most important task of the union is monitoring the interests of its members

The most important and best membership benefit PAU offers is monitoring of interests and the collective labour agreement. The more people working in the sectors covered by PAU are members, the better agreements can be negotiated.

The collective labour agreement is the most important agreement concerning a worker. It defines among other things salaries, overtime pay (minimum wage is not determined by law), working hours, holidays and holiday pay, paid free time, sick leave payment and work safety.

The collective labour agreement effects also your free time. When can you have free time and how high a salary is enough to eat, live and enjoy hobbies. The membership affects both work and your free time.

The labour agreements negotiated by PAU can be found here.
