PAU’s Villa Aurala offers a quality backdrop for you to have a holiday or even hold a party. Available throughout the year, the villa is beside lake Saimaa, about a 15-minute drive from the centre of Mikkeli. The address of the villa is Laitialantie 204, 52300 Mikkeli.
The villa can accommodate 12 people in seven rooms and two extra beds. There is also a TV room and a meeting/dining room, as well as a kitchenette, tableware, cooker, dishwasher, microwave and coffee maker.
A large, glazed veranda provides an alternative dining area. The total villa area is 300 m2 and the glazed veranda is 36 m2.
Additionally, next to the villa is a large sauna building, with a large room/fireplace room and a sauna with two stoves. Around 20 people can enjoy the sauna steam at a time. The sauna has direct access to lake Saimaa.
There is also a children’s play area and tennis court in the villa yard. Cycles, SUP boards and a rowing boat are also at the disposal of visitors. There is also a glazed gazebo near the waterfront, where you can barbecue sausages and make traditional campfire coffee.
Access to Villa Aurala during the summer months (May-August) is drawn by lots among members in the spring. More information about drawing lots is available on the union’s website and in the membership magazine Reitti.
