Finnish Post and Logistics Union PAU and Service Sector Employers PALTA have approved the collective agreement for the mail communications and logistics industry as well as the collective agreement applicable to the parcel sorters of Posti Palvelut Oy.
In both collective agreement negotiations, an agreement was reached already in June 24, 2021. However, the negotiation results were pending for the approval of the administrations of the unions that took place in August. The new collective agreements will enter into force once the current agreement periods have reached their conclusion.
Both collective agreements will be valid for four (4) years, with the fourth year being a so-called option year. The new agreement period of the collective agreement for the mail communications and logistics industry is from November 1, 2021 to October 31, 2025. The agreement period of the collective agreement of the parcel sorters of Posti Palvelut Oy is from February 1, 2022 to January 31, 2026.
Both collective agreements included salary solutions for the upcoming agreement period in line with the common policy. Each agreement also sets the terms of compensation for, and the discontinuation of, the competitiveness pact hours (Kiky hours). In the collective agreement of the mail communications and logistics industry, Kiky hours will be discontinued as of January 1, 2022 and in the collective agreement of the parcel sorters of Posti Palvelut Oy, they will be discontinued as of February 1, 2022.
PAU will inform more about both collective agreements later.
