Reitti inform
about workers rights and
working conditions
Apply for strike allowance by filling out a strike allowance application, which will then be returned to your local chapter’s contact person. Don’t send the application to the union office.
The local chapters and strike committees has been informed about this this week. The local chapter will be responsible for informing the workplace on how and where the filled-out application form is to be returned. Contact information for the contact person at your local chapter will also be updated on the union's website. If necessary, members can check from the union’s website, where their application should be submitted to. The sooner the chapters receive the applications, the faster the allowances will be paid.
Members must fill in all the requested information on the strike allowance application form and sign it before submitting it to their local chapter. Participation to the strike must be verified in a reliable manner, for example, by submitting a copy or a screenshot of your pay slip etc. The local chapter will then verify the time spent on strike. Time spent on strike will be marked in the pay slip with payday at the end of September for both hourly and monthly paid workers.
