The PAU`s Committee of Youth is organizing Summer Weekend of young members in PAU under 36 years old on May 30–31, 2026.
16.04.2026PAU has taken out union insurance and organisation insurance with If Insurance Company for its members. The insurance is included in the membership fee.
25.03.2026The application period for the 2019 grants awarded by Kansan Sivistysrahasto and PAU is in August 2018. You will find an online application form with instructions on how to apply on the webpage of KSR (www.sivistysrahasto.fi). Differing from previous years, no applications need to be sent on paper.
The PAU fund is not meant to work with art professionally, nor is it for performance trips, studying (for example updating training) or sports. Same applicant is eligible for the grant only once. The scholarships are small, they do not enable very large projects. Therefore, these kinds of projects are not supported. Also, local chapters can get a grant for culture projects or for example for writing a history.
The funds of the unions will process the applications during October and November. The Board of KSR will decide in December which applications will be awarded grants. Information about the awarded grants will be released on the webpage of KSR around the turn of the year and the grants will be paid out in February – March.
